OUR SCHOOL:
Sensei Gabrielle (Gabby) began practicing the art of
Shorin-Ryu Karate in 1998 at the age of four . Her parents enrolled her in
karate so she would have the opportunity to grow mentally, physically and
spiritually, with the opportunity to be and act like a child! Gabby's years
of experience are easily identifiable when watching her demonstrate many
techniques. Her speed, power and skills have grown tremendously as a student
and more important as an instructor.
Sensei Stephanie Whitten became involved with the program after actively
assisting her daughter with learning drills, kicks, punches and katas. Once
a student of the program her passion for the art grew rapidly. She has been
training in 1999. Sensei has been teaching the art of Shorin-Ryu karate-do
since 2003.
After sitting by passionately watching Sensei Gabby and Stephanie get
promoted, Sensei George decided to join the fun. He has been studying in
2000 and assist Sensei Gabby and Stephanie with instructional training.
George is also a personal trainer.
Daniel Whitten is a Jr. Black Belt and assist with teaching the younger
students. He has been an active student since 2000 and enjoys teaching and
demonstrating his abilities. The younger two Isaiah and Kyla are also
involved with the program. We have made it a family commitment to learn
together and stay in-shape as a family!
We are an enthusiastic family who have a shared interest in the art of
Karate-Do and a passion for helping others. We enjoy the opportunity to work
together and hope that collectively, we can bring great value and teaching
to the program.
We encourage everyone to pursue the art of
self-discipline, respect, confidence, self-control, self-esteem, and
preservation individually or as a family!
